Injuries

MVA
Whiplash is often caused by rear-end accidents. This occurs when the head is aggressively jerked backward and forward or to the side. It destabilizes the spine and sometimes can cause severe pain to the neck, shoulder and low back pain. Blurred vision, headaches and dizziness and reduced range of motion in the neck and low back can also occur. It is not a life-threatening injury but it can lead to chronic pain and even disability. The sooner you are able to get evaluated and see treatment the sooner you can be on the road to recovery.

Sport
These injuries occur during exercise, participating in a sport or while playing with others. If you haven’t been regularly active or don’t properly warm up before exercise you are at risk for an injury. The most common injuries are sprains, strains, knee and ankle injuries. Seeing a physical therapist can rebuild strength, improve mobility and prevent permanent damage and recurring injuries
